Recent accomplishments: “I was named a McDonald’s All-American High School Basketball Team nominee for 2011. I was recently part of the Oregon All-Star basketball game.” In Tigard’s game against Glencoe, she scored 21 points, with three rebounds and three assists. “It was a career-high game for me.”

 How she got started: “I started in third grade, which was the age you were allowed to start playing.”

Favorite part of sport: “The excitement the game brings and the adrenaline.”

Favorite meal the night before the big event: “I usually have pasta.”

Rules to live by: “Always go 100 percent in whatever you are doing in life, whether it’s school or sports.”

Interests: Teaching kids basketball

The one thing someone may not know about her: “I have been a Type 1 diabetic for eight years now.”
