Teams: West Linn Youth Basketball Association, select team; Team FAST
Recent accomplishment: Scored 19 points against Seattle Rotary in the championship game of the Washington Youth Sports & Emerald City Basketball Academy’s annual Thanksgiving Tournament. West Linn team won the Lakeside Tournament in Lake Oswego this month.
How he got started: “I started out in West Linn Mini-Hoopers in second grade, but what really made me better was attending FAST basketball clinics and camps with Terry Pritchard.”
Favorite part of sport: “Being able to run the floor and getting fast-break layups. I also really enjoy playing with my teammates.”
Favorite meal the night before the big game: “I try not to eat a lot before games, but my favorite food is Chinese food.”
Off-season? “I am planning on playing basketball through the summer but will probably also play baseball and football.”
Rules to live by: “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
Memorable advice: “In sports: Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. In life: The three most important choices a person can make are to follow Christ, who you are going to marry and what job you are going to have.”
Hobbies, interests: Helping coach his younger brother’s Mini-Hoopers team, friends and family, going on vacation

The one thing someone may not know about him: “I was a movie extra with my dad in the film ‘Extraordinary Measures‘ — we are in the park scene walking behind the bench with Keri Russell.”
