Highlight: “Definitely playing in the Rose Garden and leading my team to the state championship (game) with back-to-back 32-point games against Lincoln and West Linn.”

How he got started: “I always loved playing in our front driveway. I loved the game and I have to thank my parents and coaches for helping me progress as a player as I have gotten older.”

Coach’s advice: “Always be aggressive, no one can stop you.”

Favorite part of sport: “Being able to succeed in a competitive environment with friends when we are doing the thing we love.”

Favorite meal the night before the big event: Chicken teriyaki

Offseason? “I play year-round basketball on the Clutch Players AAU team.”
