At 7 pm on Friday March 11, Max Blair 
will be participating in an Oboe Recital to benefit the Juilliard Christian Fellowship Mission Trip to Japan.
The benefit concert is being held at Willamette Christian Church, located at 3153 S Brandywine Drive, in West Linn.
The Juilliard Christian Fellowship mission trip to Japan is set for May 25th to June 6th. “We are partnering with Grace Tokyo Church and will be giving concerts for the two weeks we are in Tokyo for the purpose of building relationships between Christians and those who have never heard the Gospel before,” said Max, a junior at the Julliard School of Music.
Max graduated from West Linn High School in 2008.
He is excited about the mission outreach. “The purpose of this trip is to share the message of hope of Christianity in a nation where many people have never heard it before. Along with a group of students from the Juilliard Christian Fellowship, I will be performing for two weeks in Churches in Tokyo with the goal of reaching out to those who have never heard the Gospel.”
