In today’s February 5, 2011 print edition of The Oregonian’s SW Weekly section, they featured my story on Mike and Lori Anderson of West Linn who have eight framed fine-art photographic images on display in “The Human Element” show in the city of Gresham’s Visual Arts Gallery, 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway.

All proceeds from sales of the Andersons’ art will benefit Human Solutions

, a Gresham/Portland nonprofit that assists homeless people.
The show runs through March 3.

“A business friend told me about Human Solutions a few years ago, and I donated two pieces of art for their auction,” said Mike Anderson. “I realized that Human Solutions provides a much-needed service and there are a lot of homeless individuals that we in West Linn don’t know about. We are removed from many of the problems in other places in Oregon. That is why I try to reach out beyond our local more affluent area.”
