Reading work at Oregon State Penitentiary, in lieu of September’s Writers Connection meeting

This month’s Rolling Hills Writers Connection fourth Thursday of the month meeting will be a writing outreach event at the Oregon State Penitentiary, Thursday Sept. 23.

We will be carpooling together, leaving at 4:30 p.m.  from the church, and participants need to get pre-approved for security purposes for this  event, where we read our work to inmates. This is the fourth year the writers’ ministry has had this opportunity.

There is a special dress code as well as other restrictions for this visit. For more information, contact Cornelia@corneliaseigneur.com or call her at 503-318-3480

What, no blogging about Oregon State Pen? Was there transformation? :)
I regret my absense. :( And I miss their homemade prison pastries (really)! :)
Hope you will all share soon. Let’s make an impact together! :D
