I have been a freelance journalist since 1996 when I started working as a regular contributor for The Oregonian newspaper. My specialty areas include family and parenting writing, community stories, faith and religion features.

Over the years, I have added other publications to my credits, including Christianity Today, The Huffington Post, Today’s Christian Parent, Parents Magazine, Travel Oregon The West Linn Tidings. 

I am able to write and research in a wide range topics to produce both long and short features, Q and A segments, and Interviews.
