The Wilsonville location, 27960 S.W. Canyon Creek Road, joins New Life Church Riverfalls and New Life Church Robinwood in West Linn.

lead pastor of the Riverfalls campus, the original location, said, “We have 23 parking spots here. If we are going to do anything more significant we have to either move or start new churches.”

New Life is moving into a building that once housed Community Creek Church, which closed in 2009. The former pastor there, Travis Tadema, was hired to head New Life Church Wilsonville.

New Life has been running programs such as sports camps and play co-ops in Wilsonville the past two years to “try to meet the needs of families there,” said Reavely.

He has been the lead pastor of New Life Riverfalls Church since 1993, when it was West Linn Baptist Church. The church changed its name to New Life Church in 2005, just before opening the Robinwood location, because “the middle name, Baptist, was commonly misunderstood, and the first name didn’t lend itself to being multi-site.”

Reavely is honored to be part of this multi-campus approach.

“We believe there is a place for small churches, yet they are getting squeezed out,” he said. “In our case, we are showing how you can support small churches with a larger organization.”
